Earlier today CyanogeonMod 9 released the first “Release Candidate” of the Ice Cream Sandwich based OS. Ice Cream Sandwich source has been available for 225 days now and the Cyanogen team have managed to work out most of the bugs in the core OS to deliver this to us.
It wasn’t quick or easy, but we are extremely proud of this release and what it represents for us as a group. The jump from 2.3.7 to 4.0.4 in many ways was a fresh start for this project
They are right their, It wasn’t quick but it’s been worth the wait (almost!) Lets just hope Jelly Bean doesn’t cause to much of an issue.
